Elaine and David Taylor started selling and installing blinds out of their garage in 1998. They officially formed The Blind Guyz, LLC, in the spring of 2006 with a passion to make people’s homes beautiful while providing the expertise and support they needed with good old-fashioned customer service. The Blind Guyz has been beautifying homes across south Atlanta and middle Georgia with superior window treatments and world-class customer support ever since.
We start with our in-home consultations on all our products, allowing you to visualize them in your own space and light. Our excellent written warranty and certificate of insurance ensures that every product we sell is of the highest quality, and all of our products are free of VOCs and certified “Child Safe” for your peace of mind. Plus, our own professional installers install all products. No contractors necessary. We make sure that our design consultants and installers have the finest training, materials, and supplies available in our industry.
How we got here
1998
Elaine and David Taylor start selling and installing blinds out of their garage, right after moving the family to Peachtree City.
Spring 2006
The side business becomes a company, with the same idea behind it: make homes beautiful, and give people the expertise and old-fashioned service to go with it.
Today
Three Taylors and two installers, covering Peachtree City, Newnan, Fayetteville, Senoia, Griffin and the towns around them. Still family run, still our own installers.

Co Founder – Managing Member
Grew up in Macon, GA and went to Central High School, “Go Chargers!”. Went to Brigham Young University on a Football Scholarship. Started in Insurance Sales right from college and learned over many years how to provide first class Service to my clients. Right after 9-11 we moved to Peachtree City, GA and started Our Own Full Service Blind Business out of Our garage. Twenty years later We are the Class of Our industry in south Atlanta.
Sales Manager – Managing Member
Zach is a part owner at The Blind Guyz LLC, father to four beautiful children, and a wonderful husband. He hopes to pass on his invaluable sales knowledge to the team, while providing assistance in any way he can.
General Manager
Sarah is currently the Operations Manager at The Blind Guyz LLC. Sarah is local to Newnan with her fiancé, and the youngest daughter of the Taylor family. She hopes to continue in her parents footsteps of bringing the company personal and financial success.
Installer
James is our chief installer, and provides priceless insight into this business. He is a grandfather, father, and husband. He always strives to provide the best possible service to everyone, while making sure they are well informed of the mechanics of their products.
Installer
Carlito has been an installer with The Blind Guyz for about four years. He is a father of two boys, and husband to Rhyleigh. He strives to ensure the happiness of our customers, and make sure they’re comfortable throughout the process of us coming into their home.
