Acre lots, and windows nobody overlooks
Tyrone kept its lot sizes when a lot of the county did not, and that changes the brief. When your nearest neighbor is a hundred feet away behind trees, privacy stops driving the decision and light does, which opens up options that a house on a tight lot cannot really use.
That is where top-down bottom-up shades earn their place, and where a sheer or a solar shade is often better than anything opaque. You can keep the view down the yard and still take the edge off the afternoon, because there is nobody to screen out.
The housing itself is mostly ranch and traditional two-storey on wooded lots, a good share of it from the eighties and nineties, with standard window sizes and straightforward mounts. These are usually clean, quick jobs, and being ten minutes away means we can be flexible about when we come.
